Program Evaluation, Assessment & Accreditation

Key Writing Concepts provides program evaluation, needs assessment and accreditation for many clients. Research can include surveys and statistics for funding prospects as well as for program expansion or diversification. While program evaluation is often a component of strategic planning, a few specific projects are listed below. Contact us for more information.

Key Projects:

Fresno County Superior Court: Stakeholder needs assessment for the Small Claims Self-Help Center. Work included surveys and interviews with litigants, judges and attorneys as well as research of similar self-help systems. Prepared recommendation report for Superior Court staff.

Community Special Services receives funding from Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) for HIV/AIDS services funded by the Ryan White program. KWC assisted Special Services to prepare for a Program Site Visit using HRSA’s document checklist. KWC managed the processes of obtaining the required documentation from Special Services staff and developed a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation for the site visit.

Community Regional Medical Center: KWC facilitated the process and developed complex applications and presentations for the CRMC site visit for Systems of Care Division/California Children’s Services approval as a Cardiac, Cystic Fibrosis with Pulmonary Disease, Endocrine, Gastrointestinal Disorder, and Neurology Special Care Center.

UCSF/CRMC Pulmonary Hypertension Accreditation: Facilitated the development and submission of department application for accreditation as a Pulmonary Hypertension Center of Excellence, which received accreditation in September 2017.

United Health Centers Community Assessment: Conducted a comprehensive multi-community assessment including population data, community characteristics and health information. Assessment report with community recommendations was presented to UHC's Board of Directors.

Needs Assessments: KWC has performed comprehensive, HRSA-required community needs assessments on behalf of multiple Central Valley Federally Qualified Health Centers. KWC gathers population data, community characteristics and health information and creates narrative explaining the findings and statistics. Deliverables include the completed assessment report with specific community recommendations.
