Planning

Organizational consultation and planning are part of most Key Writing projects, including strategic and operational planning, resource and program development, business plans, staffing plans, and marketing. Contact us for more information.

Key Projects:

Central California Asthma Collaborative: KWC facilitated Board Development, including infrastructure, recruitment, orientation and training. Worked with board committee members to create a plan for fund development and donor recognition. KWC also facilitated the board planning retreat.

City of Clovis: Working with a citizen group known as Technopolis Clovis Core Committee (TC3), KWC developed preliminary goals and objectives and a draft Concept Development Plan for the transformation of the City of Clovis into an innovative technology hub.

Fresno Unified School District: Facilitated and planned development of the Preschool Strategic Plan in coordination with FUSD Early Childhood Development staff.

RCS Fresno: KWC facilitated planning for expansion of the RCS intern program, increased community recognition and support, and use of social media for agency awareness. Conducted focus groups and interviews to assess effectiveness and impact of agency operations.

San Benito County Diabetes Collaborative Project Facilitation: Proposal to The Health Trust and The California Endowment for a 12-month collaborative planning project for diabetes prevention, treatment, and management in San Benito County.

Steel Door Institute: Conducted research and analysis in support of development of client marketing plan. Work includes surveys, analysis and recommendations for expanding awareness of client's company and services. Work with organization Board and Committees in development of professional education course.

Tulare County: Working with four agencies collectively known as the Health and Human Services Functional Group, developed individual strategic and operational plans based on the countywide 2006-2011 Strategic Business Plan. The individual plans were then coordinated, resulting in an integrated Functional Group Plan.

West Fresno Health Care Coalition: Created Fund Development Plan recommending strategies and action steps for sustaining programs of a local community-based organization.
